Run Your Life is a brand that is focused on building a bridge between running and strength training. My goal as your coach is to help you become a stronger more powerful athlete that will translate to not only your running but every day life too!

Why do runners need to lift?

Improve muscular strength, endurance, and power. Each of these elements is vital in running performance, and strength training can help you perform at your best.

Reduced risk of injury. Strength training specific to runners can apply new movement patterns and correct movement imbalances. Intentionally targeting specific muscle groups will promote balance development and reducing the risk of overuse injuries (shin splints, stress fractures and muscle or tendon strains)

Improve Posture and form. A strong core and upper body contribute to better posture and running form. Building strength in your core also helps you to maintain upright and strong posture, optimizing your energy and reduces the likelihood of fatigue-related form breakdown

  • Monthly Strength Programming

    Progressive overload strength programming for runners

    New phase of workouts released every 4-5 weeks

    2 lifts a week + 3rd core/mobility day

    30-40 minute workouts

    Equipment needed:

    Dumbbells, bench, mini bands

    Barbell substitute option

    Full body workouts  + a focus on runners specific needs: single leg work, hip flexors, quads, glutes + core

  • Custom Strength Programming

    For anyone looking for a customized lifting program to match their life, schedule, skill level, and training cycle.
